🌳🌷mili fans of parks and gardens, the event Weekend of Open Parks and Gardens is approaching.
XVII. The year of the Cultural and Education event will take place from 6 June to 8 June to 8 June 2025. For this year, the topic called “Stone in the Garden” was elected. A commented tour of the Castle Cognitive Circuit. Hlohovec is called the Castle Knowing Circuit. It is approximately 2.6 km long, has an elevation of 62 m and contains 5 stops, but exceptionally at the end we look into the part of Hlohovský Castle. The park (also called the Castle or Panská garden) is situated in the southwestern part of the city, partly on the northwest to northeastern slopes of the Nitra Upland and partly on the Váh Niva plane. Hlohovsky Castle, where participants can see the small exhibition Hlohovec - magnate headquarters in Lower Považie and an overview of rocks from the Hlohov region, which were used in garden architecture in the Middle Ages and modern times.
