Dear fans of local wines,
On the occasion of the International Day of the Rizling Rhine (March 13), we have prepared a continuation of the popular event in the “IV weekend of Riesling from Rača 2024”.
We will specifically focus on this variety, which not only because of its historical contribution is the recognized king of the Small Carpathian White Wines. The original Račianska Kamenististo-sandy soil, which is very suitable for growing Rhine rizling gives it its unmistakable nobility, fullness, freshness, but above all the varietal characteristics characteristic of Terroir Rača. Račian wines of this variety are carriers of honey, citrus and tones of dried fruit. In mature or archive wines, the quality of the quality of the delicate aroma of kerosene is carried.
The whole event will take place in the changed scenario. It will be divided into two parts. After a proven model with a similar successful and popular event. After collecting samples, the evaluation expert committee at "Rizling Rizling" in the period of 25.3. 2025 and selects the top wines from the list.
It will be accessible to the public for tasting of all selected samples. We are already cordially inviting you to us in the wine garden of the Kolonič Curia in Rača at Nám. A. Hlinka 4.
Just visit 19.4. or 20.4. from 15: 00-21:00 in the wine garden and you will be among the wines of wines that originated exclusively from Račianske vinohrady.
Our visitors will be able to enjoy that we believe that a large number of wines from the variety we mentioned above. There will be "tasting packages" to make it easier to get an overview of all samples offered in a sufficient volume of 0.5 dcl. As a special bonus, we will certainly prepare a small surprise for you in the form of "wild cards", namely the selection of Rhine Rhine from remote wine -growing destinations to compare the differences in taste and climatic conditions. We will introduce you to the history of viticulture in Rača. We will continue with the interpretation of individual tasting samples of selected Rizling Rizling, of course, by introducing individual hunts where the grapes come from and of course we will mention the producer who produced the wine. We will introduce you to the individual wine -growing hony, where this variety has been planted in the past and where it is still grown. And that there are enough in Rača you will be able to see for yourself.
Of course there will be a tasting sheet where you will be able to mark your perceptions and feelings after tasting a particular wine, which we can provide you with your interest with import.
