About event
For the ninth time, the borders between Slovakia and Austria will be symbolically closed. We want to appreciate together the value of freedom and pay respect to those whose desire for it cost the most valuable thing - human life.
Saturday, November 16, will take place under the Freedom Cycle Bridge in Devínská Nová Ves. Visitors will be able to take the Železná opona experience bus to the cycle bridge.
Admission to the bus is free, but due to capacity reasons it is necessary to register here: https://bratislavskykraj .sk/jazda-dobovym-autobusom/
From 15:30 to 17:00 a memorial ceremony with reading of names, salutes and laying of wreaths.
Under the Cycle Bridge freedom, you can look forward to a military exercise, and from 3:30 p.m. a short cultural program with songs from November and interviews.
In the Museum of Croatian Culture, we are planning creative workshops, a November quiz, the opening of the Customs Museum, the closing of the bridge and the stamping of exit clauses.
