About event
Don't know what could make your little ones happy and fill their time with an interesting weekend program? Children can also come to SteelPark 📌 21. and March 22, 2026📌. For example, they can diversify their day in the workshops, which will be accessible to them at any time during the opening hours 👉from 10:00 to 18:00.👈 At the reception, they can buy various wooden puzzles, which they can then put together and complete according to their own imagination.
Short demonstrations of the workshops are also prepared at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00 hrs.
On Saturday, the topic ⚡ Experiments with static electricity is on the program. Children will see simple experiments that use the accumulation of electric charge by friction - for example, a balloon against hair. Thanks to this, it is possible to move light objects or even "stick" the balloon to the wall. Static electricity is created by the friction of two materials, during which electrons are transferred. A charged body can attract uncharged light objects and repel bodies with the same charge. Experiments use, for example, balloons, plastic rulers, woolen fabric or hair.
On Sunday, visitors will watch the 🥛 Cup game. By rubbing a moistened finger along the edge of the glass, vibrations are created on its walls, which create sound waves with a specific frequency - that is, the pitch. It can be changed by adding or removing water in the glass. The higher the water level, the lower the tone and vice versa. This interesting phenomenon arises due to the change in water pressure on the walls of the glass, which affects the way the glass vibrates and creates sound.
