About event
“A better world is possible, but no one needs it”
Viktor Ori
is a well -known name of the Slovak alternative music scene. For many years he was a singer and guitarist of the band Shall, who was active from 2014 to 2024 and played almost 300 concerts in 17 countries. Viktor has currently exchanged English for Slovak, in which he gives a personal and social testimony with an even greater musical diversity than ever before. The core of music still stands on live drums and guitars, but there are also a number of synthesizers, sampling, piano and also a number of music guests. Genre and thematically. It is full of world, which is a concept that also bears the name of Weltschmerzen in German, under which the album was released. Better was never good will not portray the contemporary world a grim image. Finally, just like the time we live. It is a testimony of moments subjective and personal, sometimes universal, general, generational. However, always deeply honest and political. These are not only gloomy and disturbing, as well as bright, irritating, and cynical in places. But maybe this is this disconnected and more realistic way of experiencing the world that allows some relief and reconciliation. And at the same time encourages activities from a new, illusion deprived of position. 91%. Žofčín, music.sk)
