We invite you to the next meeting with a librarian as part of the I know nothing... cycle, when we will introduce you to the article database, search procedures and access to the full texts of articles. Librarian Šárka Staňková will lead the lecture and answer questions.
Our fund contains both monographic publications and periodicals. At the same time, since the 1990s, our library has been processing and creating a Pedagogical Bibliographic Database. Both periodical records and records of these processed articles can be found in our online catalog. In some cases, these records are also enriched with access to their electronic version.
Articles are a rich source of information and due to their easier publication, they often bring up-to-date information from the given area the fastest. Therefore, it is very advantageous to be able to search for articles in the catalog and then know which way to get to the full text of the article.
The lecture will take place in the hall on the 1st floor of the building.
