Martina Lusková - violin
Martina Mikulecká - viola
Bernat Izard - cello
violon, the predecessor of the double bass was mainly used in the Baroque and Classicism. The violon with its Quart-Teric Akordic "Viennese tuning" (A, D, FIS, A,) sounded fully, rich and libisually, but it was not easy to play in all keys and during the second half of the 19th century it was replaced by a more universal double bass (E and D G). Unfortunately, in particular, classicist concerts had to be reduced and rewritten, because it would not be possible to play on the current double bass due to their tuning. The period interpretation on the historical cellon returns their original immature form, as they sounded at the time of their creation.
