Viva Musica! festival 2026 | Dalibor Karvay 40+1

Extraordinary virtuosity, maximum precision and musical maturity are the qualities that made Dalibor Karvay one of the most outstanding and internationally successful Slovak artists of his generation.

At the concert, originally planned for his 40th birthday, together with Dalibor and the Viva Musica Orchestra! will be presented by two other outstanding musicians – Dutch cellist Harriet Krijgh and Austrian pianist Markus Schirmer. They will perform Beethoven's Triple Concerto for piano, violin and cello in C major, op. 56, which in the second half of the concert will be supplemented by Beethoven's Symphony no. 4 in B flat major in musical staging and under the artistic direction of Dalibor Karvay.

"This concert is special for me - not only because I celebrated my 40th birthday last year, but especially because I will play with excellent musicians and my friends - Harriet and Markus, whom I respect immensely. We will play Beethoven's Triple Concerto and Fourth Symphony with the Viva Musica Orchestra! without a conductor, which I see it as a beautiful challenge and at the same time a celebration of musical understanding and mutual trust," added Dalibor Karvay.
