About event
🎵 At this year's last public concert in the Albrecht House, chamber music by Antonio Vivaldi for violin or cello accompanied by basso continuo. However, Vivaldi's music will be complemented by his direct predecessor, Arcangelo Corelli, who influenced Vivaldi and other violinists and composers of the 18th century with his virtuosity of violin playing. Corelli's solo sonatas are heard quite rarely on our stages, and even more rarely are his decorated versions, which represent the pinnacle of virtuoso baroque art. In addition to the string music, the world premiere will also feature a Duo for two mandoras from the Austrian monastery in Kremsmünster.
