About event
The flip side of graphic design and visual communication is visual smog. How does this phenomenon affect the form of public space and orientation in it? What causes city users, traders, architecture and how to get rid of visual smog? We will show you everything during a walk through the Christmas center of Prague.
Lecturer: Veronika Rút
MgA. Veronika Rút is a multidisciplinary designer. She has over 10 years of experience in branding and founded her own design studio. Since 2015, she has been a therapist in Czech cities and is a well-known critic of visual smog. It creates innovative projects that help the cultivation of public space in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He runs the non-profit Our Cultivated Cities and helps mayors with the cultivation of public space. Promotes evidence-based approach and Human Centered Design. It helped the state organization Správa železnik with the cultivation of our railway stations and, in cooperation with Plzeňský Prazdroj, helped improve the presentation of more than 6,000 Czech pubs. She is the author of the award-winning Manual of good advertising and labeling practices for the city of Brno and cooperates with other cities. She assembled a team of experts and put together the first overview of advertising legislation in the Czech Republic in the publication Cultivation Cookbook of České měst. https://veronikarut.com
