As part of the 14th edition of the Bez hryánic festival, there will also be a lecture and debate with Vladimír Šnídl, a journalist from Denník N. He lived in Prague for eleven years, where he studied political science at Charles University. From 2007 he worked in the Czech Hospodářské noviny, in the summer of 2014 he returned to Slovakia. Journalistically, he covers topics such as military purchases, rail transport, as well as the topic of propaganda and the pitfalls of social networks. At the discussion, we will talk about why even many educated people can believe hoaxes, conspiracy theories and pro-Russian propaganda - what effective tricks are used by manipulators, especially on social networks. In the second part, we will offer tips on how to communicate with such people.
