About event
One of the most prominent musicians - rockers and singers - of the Central European musical context will perform at Klub Pomezí!
Vladimír Václavek undoubtedly belongs to the most prominent figures of the Czech music scene. Born in 1959 in Rýmařov, in the Jeseníky foothills. They gave ground for the first steps and strength and love for life. That's the important thing. And significantly less.
His music is and has always been something different, uncompromisingly strong. Musical beginnings are connected with Iva Bittová and Pavlo Fajt. He founds the legendary band Dunaj (in 1990, the album Dunaj was awarded by the most prestigious Czech music magazine Rock&Pop, both by readers and critics, as the best album
of the decade), as well as Rale (CD Twilight / Soumrak, received in 2000 by the Academy of Popular Music - Anděl), VRM, Theater Royal and is at the birth of the groups Čikori (in 2001 the CD received the Academy of Popular Music Award – Anděl), E, Josef Boys, Klar, Edel. Together with Iva Bittová, he records the legendary CD Bílé inferno (in 1997 it was awarded the prize of the independent association of music critics Periskop – Zlutá podonorka and in 2004 it received a gold disc
from the publisher).
He plays at prestigious festivals in Europe and overseas, for example Mimi Festival Marseille (F), Ring Ring Beograd (YUG), Victoriaville (CAN), Mediawave Györ (HUN), Tanec Praha (CZ), Avignon Festival (F),
collaborates with Ferdinand Richard on CD Arminius, with Tom Cora on CD Bílé Inferno, plays in the group Josef Boys with Marcus Therofal and in a duo with Miloš Dvořáček. He participates musically, dances and plays in the Japanese-French-Czech group Kublaï Khan Investigation. He records his solo CDs, which he also plays at
concerts. He performs concerts all over Europe, USA, Canada, Africa, China, Hong Kong, Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion, Brazil and Iceland.
