Many meanings are associated with water. It is our inevitable part, in a more symbolic plane it connects - divides, with its tide increases - it is declining. We also look at the water with a local overlap of what we have at home - Liptovska Mara, who is 50 years old this year. Through these meanings of water, we immerse yourself in one of the oldest textile techniques in the form of wet felting sheep wool, which you try and create your own felt cover or housing.
On the course we will work with the local Slovak sheep wool, but also the German wave, or the wave of merino sheep from Australia and New Zealand.
Wave felting is considered one of the oldest textile techniques. In Slovakia, it is known mainly for wool cloth - woolen fabric fabric, which was used for the production of cloth pants, coats or shoes in the traditional clothing of our ancestors. Product
