WAVE BREAKING at Kína Kavalírka

Wave breaking is an event for all fans of wool and yarn and handwork with it. You can look forward to vendors with a variety of products. Be it hand-dyed yarn, hand-spun yarn, trinkets, but also jewelry and more.
As part of the program, you will be able to see how wool is spun on a spinning wheel and on a skein. There will also be opportunities to learn something about the basics of knitting and crocheting, you will see how to work with Luceta and there will also be a demonstration of the traditional art of Nålbinding.
As part of the event, there will be a swap club, where you can bring the yarn you no longer want and exchange it with someone for another one that catches your eye.
You can also bring the leftovers and leave them with us for the grandmothers who, thanks to the Grandma's Socks project, have work and income.
You can bring children to the event, there is an option to sit them down in the sandpit, or crayons and paper and change will be prepared for them toys. Because we understand that not everyone has babysitting grandmothers and we want to make the event accessible to everyone.
As part of the event, there will also be a new Kino Kavalírka: Film & Ironing from 15:00.
Bring a blanket, bring your knitting, tune in to the relaxed atmosphere and have a sup drink or coffee from Kina Kavalírka's assortment as part of the event.
