The Vltava station will present a radio adaptation of the popular novel Jaws as part of the Film Summer. On this occasion, the cult film version from 1975 will be screened at the Karlín Barracks.
Summer vacation – it's sandy beaches and the endless sea... But what if the carefree days of vacation are disturbed by a man-eating shark? This is exactly the kind of plot Peter Benchley chose for his popular novel Jaws half a century ago. The American writer and journalist also contributed to the script for Steven Spielberg's no less famous horror adaptation. Hear the chilling tale of a beach resort where vacationers never know when a swim in the waves will turn fatal. Jaws was read by Jan Hájek as a continuation reading for the radio. You can hear it in its premiere during the Film Summer on the Vltava River - for the whole month from August 27.
