Behind the idea of organizing a workshop in Košice is a House of Elisabeth - an informal artistic group focused on Drag Performance, Dance and Singing, organizing multi -genre performances, community events and diverse workshops in Kosice and Kosice and Kosice surroundings. href = "https://forms.gle/eqhpjxfjsjzgadus8"> https://forms.gle/eqhpjxfjsjzgadus8
ᥫ᭡ Lecturers: It was founded by Monika and Viktor in 2016 and have been actively involved in the creation and functioning of the local Ballroom scene for 10 years.
BALLROOM scene, or even "ball culture" is an African -American and Latin American LGBTI+ subculture that was created in NYC. Its history begins in the 19th century and today you can know it eg. from Pose. Gradually, Ballroom spread throughout the world and found a place in it with regard to local conditions. This space for expressing his personality without a feeling of condemnation belongs to all minorities that do not meet the standards set up by a heteronormal company. In Bratislava we have an 8 -year history of balls, which is carried out by Monika Prikkel with Roman himself. The best known is the name Ball of Shame.
