Vojdi + Sýček + Aport

Vojdi, Sýček and Aport will perform on August 2, 2026 in the backyard of MeetFactory.

Math rock, psychedelia and kraut-rock invocation – the fifth in the series of summer concerts in the backyard behind MeetFactory will present the trio of bands Vojdi, Sýček and Aport.

Motor drums, hypnotic melodies, repetitive structures, minimalist texts and the slogan less characterize them more band Sýček since its very first songs. After the debut album I. (label NAAB) and the breakup of the original line-up, the group rose from the ashes in 2024, when frontman and singer Libor Staněk II. together with guitarist Richard Stein (Pokora), they founded a new owl squadron and released an album called IV. on the Polí 5 label. They are currently working on a new album, which will be released next year under the patronage of Ondra Ježka's Jámor Studio.

Vojdi, an art-rock power trio from Seattle, Slovakia, drowns listeners in the Bermuda triangle of progressive guitar riffs, constantly defying rhythmic grooves and noise waves with text messages. From math rock to indie and shoegaze to metal, Vojdi experiments with genres, unconventional rhythms and self-irony in his fragmented instrumental compositions. They christened their long-playing debut entitled Kompost two years ago in MeetFactory, and in August they are returning to the scene alongside Sýček and the upcoming band Aport.
