Volání dálek - o historii trampingu

We invite you to a lecture on the history of tramping spiced with examples of tramp songs. Support, Cancák, Place, USka… That these words don't tell you anything? Or do you know exactly what they mean? At the lecture we will illuminate them and learn, among other things, how it started with tramping and where the first tramp settlements were created. Together we will find out how tramping developed after the war or how the former regime had influence on this movement. We will also talk about tramping around Brno. The tramp movement is associated with specific music and we will play its demonstrations to complement this lecture. Last but not least, we will introduce you to the tramp slang, whose demonstration was listed at the beginning of the post. The lecture will be guided by Barbora Svobodová, ethnographer-curator of the MZM ethnographic Institute.
