The Telekom|Broadcasting Association der The Austrian Chamber of Commerce invites you to the study presentation “The economic effects of the telecommunications and broadcasting industry in Austria”. The economic research institute Economica has calculated the importance of the key sectors of telecommunications and broadcasting for Austria as a business location, domestic value creation, the media landscape and the labor market.
Both sectors play a central role - be it in the further digitalization of the country, ensuring Austria's competitiveness or the reliable provision of modern communication services or media services. The present study impressively shows how important the contribution of these two leading sectors is to the economy and society and makes their economic benefits visible.
