Racism and anti-Semitism are historical and current violent relationships with different development histories and many interconnections. The similarities all too often fade into the background when, for example, one of the two inequality relationships is ignored or anti-Semitism and racism are played off against each other.

It is our concern to create a common space for exchange and negotiation in order to bring the intersections and effects of anti-Semitism and racism to the fore - away from dominant society projections. We know the emotional burden that this confrontation often brings with it. Spaces in which enduring ambivalence and simultaneity is practiced from an empowerment-oriented perspective can be all the more strengthening and lay the foundation for joint intersectional queer feminist action.

Note from the speakers: The workshop is open to FLINTA+ with experiences of racism and/or anti-Semitism. An examination of both subject areas is the basis for the joint workshop.
We are happy to answer any questions.
