The city and the canals in Amsterdam are staged with impressive light displays by international artists.
The light festival has has become one of Europe's top events, providing another reason to visit Amsterdam.
On a specially prepared walking path, the "Illuminade", you can admire light projections on historic buildings, streets and parks and even walk through some Light works of art throughout. The Illuminade is free!
There is also a water route, the so-called “Water Colors”, where you drive past many works of art on the canal. Tickets can be purchased locally at many shipping companies or booked in advance due to the rush.
We guarantee you a 9-hour stay in Amsterdam. How you plan your stay is entirely up to you.
