Voodoo Jürgens & Ansa Panier will present themselves in 2026, revitalized and completely renewed as a live band in time for their tenth anniversary. Rumor has it that Voodoo has been working on new material high in the German north, where Heintje once sang about his “Mama”.
The first three Voodoo albums “Ansa Woar”, “`s klane Gambling” and “Wie die Nocht noch jung wor” are all already well-deserved classics of Austrian pop, and at the same time they form a kind of Sturm & Drang triology of early Voodoo.
Now with album four the sound needs to be given a new lease of life; a departure in sound and vision.
The lyrical palette should also be expanded, leaving the Beisl for the big world out there, as well as the small world in there, the one in your own soul. The band feels that they have their best album, their greatest achievement up their sleeve, and so you can expect a lot from Voodoo and his Ansa Panier live in 2026. Come forward, come along, listen carefully, take a look.
