A zoo is more than the everyday care of the animals and unlocking the entrance. A zoological facility doesn't just have animal keepers and a zoo director who has to keep an eye on everything. But how does everyday life work in a zoo and how does cooperation with other institutions work? What has to be done in a zoo so that it runs as smoothly as possible and which trades have to be involved? What tasks does a support association have in an animal park or zoo? Questions upon questions, which Uwe Rutecki, a great expert on the history of zoos and animal parks in Berlin, gives an overview and provides information about the process and everyday life in a zoo.
Transportation:
Subway: Tierpark
Bus: 296, subway station. Zoo
Tram: 21, 27, 37, M17; Subway station Animal park
