VOS in de VS | Michiel Vos | Amsterdam

Michiel Vos - Dutch-American journalist, lawyer, American correspondent and living in New York, takes you on his personal and political journey between the Netherlands and the United States in this unique theater show. Known for his bestseller 'Vos in the US' and for television (RTL, VRT), radio (Ruud de Wild weekly for 20 years) and documentaries for HBO (Citizen USA, Pelosi in the House), Michiel is the man who knows how to 'translate' his country America to the Netherlands. Michiel shows you 'his' America from the inside so that you can (hopefully) understand it just a little better. Since 2003, he has lived in New York with his wife, filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, and their two sons. He became an American citizen in 2009 and as a Dutch-American insider he is close to the political heat of Washington. With sharp observations, personal anecdotes and a lot of humor, Michiel shares his 10 insights about the American mentality, culture and politics this evening. He shows what it is like to think and act like an American.
