About event
This year we are commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Prague's Osvobožený theater, which was most famous for the duo Jiří Voskovec & Jan Werich.
On this occasion, a publication by the Slovak historian Martin Konečný was created, which maps the journeys of the legendary couple around Slovakia. The author will present the book to the general public on Thursday, October 16 at 5:00 pm in the central library (Hviezdoslavova 5, Košice).
In addition to the talk, you can also look forward to rich visual material and other interesting things that will bring you closer to the atmosphere of the times when the humor, music and acting of the Osvobožené títál were also on Slovak stages.
You are all cordially invited.
