About event
The Brno branch of the Czech Scientific Society for Mycology and the Botanical Department of the Moravian Museum invites all interested parties to the lecture cycle in 2025
Lecturer: Mgr. Hana Ševčíková, Ph.D. (Botanical Department, Moravian Museum, Brno)
The lecture will present rare and conservation valuable species of wax, gable and several other colorfully colored interesting types of fungi. There will also be recently described species, some of them will be presented to the Czech mycological public for the first time. Changes will be discussed compared to the original red mushroom list (macromycetes), and the newly included species will be described in more detail. Ecology and conditions needed to grow these beautiful mushrooms will also be mentioned. The lecture is based on color photographs, so it is also suitable for mushroom pickers who do not know inedible mushrooms too much, but admire their beauty.
