About event
Docufiction book about the Vosto5 theater by Martina Sľúková
An insight into the guts of a theater troupe in a creative crisis at the peak of its career.
➙➙➙➙➙➙➙➙➙➙➙➙➙
For 5 years, the author mapped the functioning of five people, creators and friends. Martina Sľúková has put together an original and entertaining docufiction, where you will be able to guess what really happened and what has already been completed by the fresh pen of the author, who moves as deftly in mystification as a rolled-up bunch of aging celadons from Vosto5. In an authentic way, the book tells about the theater, about the process of creation, about the crisis of motivation, but also about personal, friendship and social crises.
We meet the members of Vosto5ka in the old theater rehearsal room, which is also a warehouse for sets, costumes and unfulfilled ambitions. At first glance, it looks like any other theater rehearsal - coffee, sandwiches, someone is enjoying something, someone is smoking, someone is looking at their cell phone. There is not exactly enthusiasm among the participants, but rather fatigue, exhaustion, overwhelm, resistance, but somewhere in the secret of the soul, maybe even compassion, love and tenderness...
Come with us to send an original publication full of emotions into the world, photos, memories and experiences! At the christening, the Snaha band will play a few hits, and Mr. Tomina, Ondar, Petar, Jura and Bauik will read selected excerpts from the book. Everything will be accompanied by a DJ with his set and, of course, there will also be an autograph session by author Martina Sľúková. We look forward to seeing you!!!
