About event
The fateful story of the most successful Czech skier Bohumil Hanč and his friend Václav Vrbata in the Vosto5 Theater's puppet salute to the Krkonoše volunteers.
One hundred years after the biggest Czech sports tragedy, we still do not know for sure what exactly happened on the Krkonoše Golden Hill.
“…he still fought, but death pressed its icy index finger relentlessly on his heart..."
When the battered participants of the canceled race, Czechs, Germans and Norwegians, men of the same blood, stood over the body of Bohumil Hanč, everyone cried. How to believe that the most perfect of them, the best, the bravest and always willing to help others, suddenly lies there dead and nothing can bring him back to life.
