About event
Edith and Marlene
Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich. Two big names of the world show business. The first was conquered by its singing, moving life story and inconspicuous appearance, the second enchanted its beauty, elegance, evil look and was one of the first European or German actresses, who managed to succeed in Hollywood. For the first life, he longs for true great love and always falls as much as possible, the second alternates men (and perhaps even women) as coats and does not conceal his cynical view of romance. The first dies at the age of forty -seven, the whole of France mourns for her, the second has lived an impressive ninety -one, but his native Germany considers it a traitor. They are so different, but they can find a common rhythm, common themes and even common love. In 2014 in Burgtheatra, Vienna, where they met with a disarming success. No wonder, for almost two dozen immortal songs of both protagonists during the production! Currently, a new version of this successful title is being created, which is prepared by Stanislav Moša for the Swiss tour. Our theater has the honor of mentioning it almost at the Czech premiere on November 7, 2015 on the drama scene at the director's concept of Stanislav Moš, under the music leadership of Karel Cón and directed by Igor Ondříček.
