"Have you ever thought about how many wonderful things there are in the world that are worth living for? Which are worth not giving up on?"
The monodrama All Wonderful Things performed by Mira Noga is an engaging story about the life of a man who grew up in the shadow of his mother's repeated suicide attempts. He tells us his own story, the story of a loving son who decided to make a list of all the wonderful things in this world to prove to his depressed mother that every day he can discover something new that is worth living for. Will he be able to convince her? And will he manage to convince himself of this?
This moving monodrama, which has been selling out stages all over the world since its inception, was created as a collaboration between one of the most important contemporary British playwrights, Duncan Macmillan (People, Places, Things; Lung) and comedian Jonny Donahoe, for whom this play is also his personal statement. But there is no need to wait for a soul-crushing tragedy. On the contrary. All wonderful things are full of joy, laughter and spontaneity. Because those are the wonderful things that are worth living for.
