January 27 is Holocaust Remembrance Day.
In 2002, the Council of Europe established a day of remembrance on the day of the liberation by Soviet troops of the largest Nazi extermination camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau.
On the evening of January 27, Monday, the Prague Book Club invites you to a conversation about anti-Semitism. To a meeting with Boris Belenkin and to the presentation of the collection book “Bromberg’s Violin”, dedicated to the history of anti-Jewish campaigns in the USSR.
Boris Belenkin is the executive director of the Scientific Information and Educational Center (NIPC) "Memorial", a member of the board of the International Memorial and the editor of this wonderful publication.
