Celebrate Children's Day by visiting the gallery with your kids. You will go through the current exhibitions Kristýna and Marek Milde: Calling the Forest and Anna-Eva Bergman & Hans Hartung: And nothing will divide us. Their works use the motif of the tree not only as a metaphor of perseverance and growth, but also the persistent bond between trees and humans and forest becomes something more than just physical space for them. The tour will focus on how the author's duo thinks of environmental themes and how the natural systems we are adding to, but often take them for granted. Their common career included the first meeting in Paris in the 1920s, separation in 1937, World War II and final reunion in 1952. Despite their proximity, they remained in style completely peculiar and constantly rendered their artistic approaches. It is this interplay of differences and similarities that the exhibition examines. Bergman and Hartung closely share inspirational resources: Natural elements, distant ends of the universe and the language of music. But each interprets them in an inimitable way. Although their works are inherently different, their paths often intersect and create shared space - a place where they can live together through painting.
