About event
In a society that is increasingly divided, enclosed in opinion and value "bubbles", a simple question arises:
Is it possible to find common ground again?
On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the Candle Manifestation, we invite you to a public discussion that will open up the topic of courage, freedom, faith and civic responsibility - then and now.
Guests events:
Pavol Šajgalík, bishop of the Ordinariate of the Armed Forces and Armed Corps of the Slovak Republic
Monika Hricáková, director of Dom Quo Vadis
Milan Kňažko, actor and tribune of November ’89
The discussion will be moderated by Štefan Chrappa.
Slávka Tkáčová will be the musical guest of the evening.
Sviečková the manifestation was a symbol of the desire for freedom, truth and dignity. Today, 38 years later, we are facing new challenges - perhaps less visible, but no less fundamental.
We invite you to an evening of conversations, reflection and meetings of people who do not want to stay closed in their own bubbles, but are looking for the common good.
tickets can be bought on the spot or online https://www.inviton.eu/e-20676/vy-ste-svetlo-sveta-bratislava
