About event
The presentation of the finalists and the decoration of the winners of the 22nd edition of the Old Prague Club Award for a new building in a historical environment is here!
This time it will take place on June 1 from 7 p.m. in the cafe Na Boršov.
The Home Council's dissatisfaction with the quality of new buildings in the historic center of Prague from the decade after the November Revolution led to the establishment of the Award. We shared then and we still share the opinion that if a new building is to appear in a historically valuable area, it cannot be at the expense of the existing values of the historical reserve.
A new building must not harm its environment, but rather enrich it
