About event
The seminar is accredited by the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists - 12 credits (VA2025082). This is an approach described in many scientific studies, including the most recent publication from 2024 called The Psychological Interpretation of Dreams.
Integrated Personality Approach does not favor any psychotherapeutic school, but builds on objective scientific evidence of the 21st century. The result is a unique perspective on dreams that integrates multiple psychotherapeutic approaches. The advantage is its clear structure, which offers clear and practical steps that can be effectively applied even in the relatively limited space of a counseling or psychotherapy meeting.
Specifically, the participant will learn:
• what role emotions play in a dream and how they help us interpret a dream;
• how to interpret objects in a dream, including dangerous characters, predatory animals, houses or natural elements;
• how to interpret specific interactions in a dream, such as rape or murder;
• a clear structure for dream interpretation revealing the true meaning of the dream.;
• specific instructions for working with nightmares.
Lecturer of the seminar, PhDr. PaedDr. Dušan Fábik, PhD., has published many works on the subject of dreaming in Slovak professional journals (Psychiatry-Psychotherapy-Psychosomatics), Czech scientific journals (Psychotherapy), and foreign scientific journals (International Journal of Dream Research). He described his Integrated Personality Approach in detail in his latest publication Psychological Interpretation of Dreams.

Previous participants
The previous seminar was attended by attendees a graduates of psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral, process-oriented, transformational systemic therapy or existential analysis and logotherapy. Here are some feedbacks:
• "The biggest benefit for me was that there are factual ways to analyze a dream and, moreover, that the lecturer was so brave and willing to offer us his own dreams, their analysis and the connection to the current events in such a way as to transfer the experience. Those are the moments when I learn the most :)"
• "A shift in the understanding of the issue, immediate applicability in practice."
• "Overall, the seminar was of great benefit to me, both personally and professionally. The basic principles to follow when analyzing a dream were given to us easily, simply and comprehensibly, which gave me the opportunity to immediately work and handle a new tool."
• "I didn't know what to expect from the seminar, but I was very pleasantly surprised by its content and course. I have mastered understandable and easily applicable techniques when working with dream interpretation. I would recommend it to anyone interested in this topic."
• "I liked everything. I appreciate the friendly atmosphere "
• "Clear and illustrative procedure for working with dreams."
