About event
Richard Fahrner is one of the exhibiting artists at the double exhibition Book Me and Mystique of Knowledge, where he presents several interactive sound objects. In the workshop that he prepared for Book Me, you will make your own aliquot whistle from a PVC pipe and learn to play it. The production is not technically complicated, and many may be surprised by the resulting sound range of these aliquot "ends". The workshop also includes a basic instruction on playing the flute and a demonstration of tools and objects that can be made from inexpensive, available materials using the principles you will learn at the workshop. The workshop can also serve as an inspiration for revitalizing the teaching of music education and other subjects in schools.
