I invite you to my first embroidery workshop, where we will slow down together, turn off the daily hustle and immerse ourselves in creating with a needle and thread.
During the workshop we will learn basic and popular embroidery techniques, such as needle painting, French knot, satin stitch and different ways of transferring motifs to textiles.
I will share with you tips, tricks and experiences that I have in embroidery collected.
The workshop is suitable for absolutely everyone - even for people who have never embroidered before. It is not only about learning a new skill, but also about a space for relaxation, concentration and mindfulness. The rhythm of the needle and thread can be surprisingly meditative and helps to slow down for a moment, be present and take time for yourself.
💛 We create a safe and respectful place for everyone regardless of age, experience, identity or origin. Everyone is welcome exactly as they are.
🪡 Embroidery material will be provided.
🌿 You will take home the finished beginning of your own embroidery.
♻️ If you feel like breathing new life into your favorite piece of clothing or accessory, bring a t-shirt, dress, bag or other textile suitable for upcycling.
