🪡 Workshop of traditional Slovak and Ukrainian embroidery, which loosely follows on from Daniela Krajčová's art project Napkin/Cervetka/Napkin.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
Napkin/Cervetka/Napkin was the project of the laureate of the Oskar Čepan Prize 2020 Daniela Krajčová. A series of workshops that offered Ukrainian women moments of peace, understanding and togetherness.
Daniela Krajčová's author's linocuts became the basis for the self-expression of the participating women, based on traditional Ukrainian embroidery. animations and installations with participatory and collaborative practices. He fills artistic means of expression with universally sensitizing stories, which he presents without generalization and without losing the dignity and uniqueness of the voice of each of the participants. Project Napkin/Cervetka/Napkin — a series of workshops for Ukrainian women, aimed at creating pleasant leisure in an atmosphere of unity and support.
Participants will try to create their own scenes using the technique of traditional Ukrainian embroidery based on the author's linocuts Даниели Крайчовой.
