Thursday 15. May 2025 at 18.00h. the art scene. He is devoted to the creation of textile paintings and soft sculptures, which, by their expressive expressions, demolish the boundaries between painting and textile creation. It is brilliantly treated with a drawing carried out by hand or machine embroidery, composing figural sets in ecstatic scenes and poses. In a fast gesture, it cut, loads, manipulates, embroidered ecstatic, irritating, true and unproved reality of life. It creates textile paintings, a soft sculpture and scenic costume clothing-dresses ranging from textile miniature to large-format compositions. In digital embroidery and application techniques in various forms, it paints with threads rich structures into unexpected shape variations. In these unique originals, strong artistic expression and many years of experience in handling fibers and other textile materials are concentrated. She studied at the Technical University of Košice, the Faculty of Arts of Arts. He had Rudolf Sikora and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, led by doc. Blanka Cepková. She presented her work at many joint exhibitions at home and abroad. She presented separate exhibitions in Košice, Bratislava, London, Pilsen and many others. Her works are represented in the SNG Bratislava State Galleries, the Bratislava City Gallery, the Nitra Gallery, the Ján Koniarek Trnava Gallery. In his work, cyclically returns to the position oscillating on the edge of free textile art. Fiber art, and a useful position in the form of textile jewelry and clothing. Vlasta is excitingly interconnected by these worlds, while it is clear that the background of both spheres stems from her suggestive personal imagination, which it materializes for us this time in the form of clothing components. Using machine embroidery and collages from textiles, it creates partially abstract clothing components that apply to Zero Waste clothing, using upcycled and waste textile material. It works with broken -offs from unused machine embroidery, as well as reduced and stylized shapes from previous series of images, which it reappears into the wearable form of clothing components. The author does not suffer from illusion about the perfection of the world. It is critical of the objective forms of threat, which cause a sense of fear, bleakiness from extreme consumer life, toxicity of physical waste, but also psychological pressure. His threats, fears and anxiety are tied into abstract or depicting structures that layer, overlaps, composes the way. Managed coincidence, when the threads are drawn by smaller ideas with which it manipulates in finding an ideal composition. The invisible natural life force, which lush under the outside, is already adoring the non -existent world into the position of the new life of the new life energy. The stone eyes of Žáková are the eyes that, by their intense glow, burn a hole into the conscience of humanity with a clear legacy of the caller for help.
