Friends,
we are once again organizing the traditional fall/autumn collection of clothes and other necessary items for homeless people. Already for the seventh time! 🥳
In 2018, we found ourselves with surplus cans of food and we set ourselves the goal of finding the most suitable place for their consumption. And so we ran into Zuzka from the Low Threshold Center for Homeless People on Brno's Bratislavská Street, with whom we ended up spending more time than was needed to hand over canned goods and they had a surprising conversation about how the entire center works.
Thanks to this, among other things, we discovered that homeless people need much more than just food.
Since that moment, more than one Friday has passed and the first fundraiser organized "for punk" turned into a fundraiser lasting several days in the beautiful environment of Piknik box.
We are very grateful that Piknik box and Dnes helpam regularly help us in recent years. Thanks to them, we manage to collect more and more things every year. underwear
- leggings, pants, sweatpants
- sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets
For MEN:
- shoes (closed and open)
- pants, sweatpants
- underpants
- socks, shorts
- t-shirts (short, long sleeve)
- shirts
- sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets
- dungarees
For EVERYONE:
- hats, gloves, scarves
- backpacks, sports bags
- sleeping bags, blankets, tents, mats
- unused hygiene items (hand creams)
- shoelaces and insoles, belts, handkerchiefs, handkerchiefs, combs
- wallets, prescription glasses
- bandage material
WHERE DO YOU GO WITH THOSE GIFTS THAT YOU NO LONGER NEED AT HOME?
During the entire opening hours to the Piknik box, i.e. Sat-Sun 11-18 and Mon 10-18.
Everything goes to the low-threshold center for homeless people on Bratislavská street in Brno.
PS: we take socks of course also the odd/odd ones, exactly the ones that were left alone after the washing machine.
