W. A. Mozart: Requiem

Mozart's Requiem impresses with its incredible range of emotions - from quiet, melancholic passages to the absorbing forte of the orchestra and chorus. Parts like Lacrimosa, Dies Irae or Confutatis are not only musical gems, but also a reminder of human transience and hope. The mysterious circumstances under which the work was created add to the mysteriousness of the work, because Mozart died while working on the Requiem and, according to legend, just before his death he was convinced that he was composing a funeral mass for himself. It is no wonder that even today, after more than 230 years since its creation, the Requiem enjoys unceasing listener interest. To hear him live is to experience his power firsthand. On November 1, you can also hear it in our church: Kladno Mining Choir with soloists Kateřina Štolová, Olha Poltorak, Martin Slavík and David Malát will be accompanied by the ensemble Temere musicantes.
By the way, last year's performance was sold out and the atmosphere was unforgettable... Don't miss it this year!
