About event
🟠Príbebebebeh love, friendship and fascism
🟠inscenácia Wandervogel is part of the main program of the International Festival Theater Nitra 2025.
🟠Telo, sexuality, nature, beauty, state, nationalism. A group of four innocent and shy young men under the leadership of an older master in the black tracksuit (typically adidas brand) will prepare and show off the "adorable" music number. "We laugh, but at the same time without knowing the historical background, we suspect that something is wrong. We intuitively remember cases of abused children in camps and scout sections. And the images and scenes that follow, escalate our concern." physical theater. The inspiration for the production was the story of the Sudeten German nationalist Heinz Routha, seeking to emancipate the Sudeten Germans after 1918. Männerbund, which was to form the ruling layer of the future Sudeten -German fascist state. Rutha was later accused of homosexuality, which was a crime at that time and imprisoned. He hanged himself in a prison cell. The production draws from his intimate war diary, full of contradictory feelings, authentic police protocols and historical-political speeches, as well as from the book of British historian Mark Cornwall Dain. The period materials overlap with intimate performers, which creates a tension between the past and contemporary. Age recommendations: 18+ ️
