About event
When Christa Wolf's novella appeared in 1990, a vehement discussion about the role of literature in the GDR and its most important representatives broke out in the literary feuilleton. Almost 40 years later, there are many traces and connections of this literary community on the Dorotheenstadt cemetery.
The walk goes after different life paths and leads from Anna Seghers to Arnold Zweig, to outsiders such as Wolfgang Hilbig or Thomas Brasch, right up to Christa Wolf and Heiner Müller and tries to trial the image of a failed society, whose utopian dream in their literature reverberated.
