About event
🎶 The third edition of the joint summer series of the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague (GHMP) and Radio Wave held in the picturesque gardens of the Troja Castle will once again offer three concert evenings with a rich cultural program around. At each of the three events, you can look forward to two musical performances, the unveiling of a work of art in the gardens with a dance performance by the Center for Choreographic Development SE.S.TA and a debate by moderator Tereza Havlínková and her guests and guests.
🌀 The thematic anchoring of this year's Riviera results from the exhibition called Labyrinth: Landscape of Inner Wandering, which can be visited in the interiors of the Troja Castle. Accompanying debates and the introduction of works of art in the exteriors illustrate that one can not only get lost in labyrinths, but also discover previously unknown inner corners and search for oneself.
📍 Program
🎨 performative unveiling of the sculpture Circle with many centers (Jakub Choma & Hana Polanská | Dance in the gallery: Labyrinth II)
🗣️ debate by Tereza Havlínková
🎤 concert Wodehn & sxilence
🎵 concert Josef K.
💬 Debate: Paradise of conflict
There is no spark without friction. What if the beef is just a well-timed PR exit? Tereza Havlínková's debate about why conflicts - generational, class or aesthetic - do not destroy music and art, but propel them. Who can moralize Drake, who is winning the generational battles on the domestic stage, and where lies the line between true definition and marketing theater? At Blur vs. Oasis neither started nor finished.
🌿 🎟️ Free entry!
🟣 The performance-installation is part of the art project Dance in the Gallery: Labyrinth – a choreographic-sculptural triptych, which is produced by the Center for Choreographic Development SE.S.TA together with the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague in cooperation with Radio Wave.
