We Build What We Practice: An Accountability Journey Through the U
We’re eager to invite you to our upcoming workshop, led by Carys Owen, a mediator and facilitator. With a focus on navigating collaboration with curiosity and care, Carys will guide participants alongside returning facilitator Madeline Taylor, supported by our dedicated trainer team, Joanna Furgał and Luise Kröning.
About the workshop
Collaboration requires more than good ideas, it requires relationships that can hold difference and change. Accountability is one of the core practices that makes this possible. When accountability is practiced with care, it strengthens trust and belonging.
In this participatory workshop, we will explore accountability, using Theory U as a process for moving from awareness to action.
Together we will:
- Explore how accountability currently shows up in our collaborations and co-founder or project partnerships.
- Practice deep listening to better understand our own patterns and needs.
- Reflect on how care-centered accountability supports a sense of belonging in collaborative work.
- Collectively explore accountability agreements.
You will leave with:
- An understanding of what accountability can look like when it is rooted in care rather than blame.
- A sense of connection with others who are exploring how to build work rooted in belonging in Berlin.
This workshop is created for Amplifying Berlin Belonging Builders as well as open to the public and aimed at founders, co-founders, project partners. Hosted as part of SINGA’s project Amplifying Belonging in Berlin, this session focuses on how accountability can deepen belonging, by helping us stay in relationship through difference.
This session is a collaboration between Mirror Neurons, SINGA Deutschland, and Smart Coop .It takes place at the WorkCoopHub, a Smart Coop project (Smart Germany), and is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
