We cordially invite candidates from the ranks of the professional public to a web-year entitled How to prepare a Slovak Social-Climatic Plan, which will be held on 26 September 2025 at 10:30. Social-Climatic Fund. This is the new European Union's financial mechanism aimed at preventing traffic and energy poverty, linked to the extension of the emission trafficking system to building and transport sectors (ETS2). In Slovakia, it will be 1.7 to 2 billion euros, which can be, among other things, a significant impulse for the development of sustainable mobility and their use describes the so -called. Socio-Climatic Plan.
What condition is its preparation and what will be the next steps? What traffic measures are considered, how they were chosen and what do they bring? Two speakers will answer the questions:
Jarmila Trenčanská
is working on the Renewal Plan section at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for the Renewal Plan and Knowledge Economy, where it covers the preparation of the socio-climate plan. For more than 20 years, the environmental issue, especially air protection and climate change, has been dealing with the experience of programming the environmental protection measures from EU funds. He started as an environmental economist at the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, subsequently led analytical units at the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and later at the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic. In the TSI project for the preparation of the Social-Climate Fund, he operates as an independent transport expert and transport analyst within the Institute for Transport and Economy (IDAH).
