About event

Architecture in its various forms surrounds us at every turn. In everyday life we take them for granted and often don't think much about their background and history. That's why we would like to raise awareness this evening! We invite you to architectural observations in Friedrichshain and to a discovery tour of Stettin, the Polish twin city of our district. What similarities and differences can be found in the structural structure of both places, especially in the decades after 1945? The Stalin Buildings e.V. and city partners Stettin e.V. have joined forces to talk about architecture, history and monument protection and have invited the authors of the architectural guide “Stettin/Szczecin” (published by DOM Publishers) as guests.

Guests: Justyna Borucka (author “Stettin/Szczecin”), Jakub Gołębiewski (author “Stettin/Szczecin”), Sabine Heiser (Stalin Buildings e.V.)
