In April last year, the leader of the ensemble “The Gold Birds” Mads Elung-Jensen was admitted to St. Joseph Hospital with acute pneumonia.
During his treatment, he fell in conversation with the chief physician for infectious diseases, Dr. Hartmut Stocker.
A beautiful new Christmas concert has now emerged from this serious matter. St. Joseph Hospital has been committed to the treatment and care of Berlin's HIV-positive people since the beginning of the AIDS pandemic.
Both the St. Joseph Hospital and Die Goldvogel are very pleased about the collaboration.
In the hospital chapel, the largest hospital chapel in Germany, sensual and cheerful Christmas sounds will sound from the throats of the gold birds on December 17th.
