Frisch We are very pleased to welcome you to our first event.

It would still be premature to assign ourselves to a fixed topic focus

- or even fixed methods of dealing with these chosen topics, but we can very roughly be classified as critical economics.

Most of us study economics and during our studies there are a lot of gaps in the curriculum on. Injustices remain unexplained, history is ignored and - yes, that's the worst - you are constantly led to believe that there is no alternative to our way of doing business.

Critical economics because the mainstream is unfortunately uncritical. One might think that this is exactly what science, or even a course of study, should be about.

That's why we're leaving the university framework; we don't want to be schooled under any circumstances, even if we probably won't be able to avoid it. It would be better to classify the theory and test it against reality. What needs to change? And under no circumstances should you think that a member of the Bundestag would initiate these changes for us.

No! We'll have to do it ourselves.

But don't fill your mouth now! You've barely completed your bachelor's degree and you're already talking like you know everything better. Maybe arrogance is also a character trait of our club.

Hopefully we can convince you with this and we look forward to your response. Whether you have feedback, ideas or a desire for more, you are cordially invited to participate.
