The pre-Christmas concert of the who's crazy series will be dedicated to percussion instruments.
The Czech drummer living in Copenhagen, Petr Balhar, will perform first with his solo set. Then 5 drummers take on one drum kit and other percussion instruments. They will play free improvisation and controlled improvisation composed by Petr Balhar.

The pre-Christmas concert of the Who's Crazy series will be dedicated to percussion instruments .
First, the Czech drummer living in Copenhagen Petr Balhar will perform his solo set. After a short break, 5 drummers will take over one drum kit and other percussion instruments. They will play free improvisation and controlled improvisation composed by Petr Balhar.
Peter Balhar is a drummer from Prague, currently residing in Copenhagen. He's mainly involved in the jazz tradition, improvised music and performance art.
BALHARDRU is a solo performance concept that cherishes both radical mildness and aggressive assertiveness. It brings together elements of jazz, African and Brazilian beats, noise, and post-punk, all flowing seamlessly through free improvisation. A central aspect of the concept is an unpredictable "sampling/collaging" mindset, with an emphasis on working with sound textures as a counterbalance to the traditionally lyrical, song-form-based approach to solo drumming found in mainstream music.
